Top 5 things to do at The Marshall County Blueberry Festival

We are just a couple of days away until Marshall County's 53rd annual Blueberry Festival begins! It will open up its doors on August 30th and will last until the 2nd of September. The Blueberry Festival is Indiana's largest four-day festival and is located in Plymouth at the scenic Centennial Park, the festival draws in visitors from all over the country. Visitors will be mesmerized by the festival's 3 stages of free entertainment,  a carnival, a parade, a great car show, as well as a spectacular fireworks show and so much more! You must experience this festival at least once, but we hope you’ll come back for more!

While here we want you to consider our top five things to do at The Blueberry Festival,

1. Fireworks - Sunday, September 1 at 9:15pm: Bring your friends and family along and enjoy one of the largest fireworks displays in the Midwest at the Blueberry Festival. This one of a kind show takes place at approximately 9:15 p.m. Set up your chairs or spread out a blanket in the fields east of the carnival at Centennial Park. Be prepared to be dazzled.

2. Tethered Hot Air Balloon Rides: Hot air balloons beautifully decor the sky with their shiny bright colors. If you are not afraid of heights or are looking for a memorable ride, hop on one of our many hot air balloons during our Blueberry Festival. You will not regret it!

Friday August 30, 2019: Adults $15, Kids $10

3. Blueberry Donuts: Blueberry Donuts are a MUST! They are always full, so if you would like to try these freshly-handmade donuts make sure you go very early! You can find them by gate 1 right next to the Horseshoe Pitch.

4. Stroll through all craft booths: Take a walk through our large variety of craft booths, you are destined to find something you will fall in love with!

5. Mariachi Sol Jalisciense - Sunday, September 1 at 6:00pm: A Mariachi is a type of musical group, originally from Mexico, consisting of violins, trumpets, a guitar, vihuela, and a guitarrón which is a small acoustic bass. Music brings family together and that is exactly what you’ll find here. Enjoy the environment and dance along as you enjoy this unique style of music.

Over all, we hope that your experience at The Blueberry Festival is memorable and we hope to see you back next year.
