Lake Maxinkuckee (known as “Lake Max”), Indiana’s second largest inland lake, delights vacationers with every kind of water activity. In addition, small lakes sculpted by ancient glaciers dot the county and invite quiet fishing excursions. Play championship golf at the home of the United States Golf Academy, and also at a course that’s on the Pete Dye Golf Trail. You can pedal bicycle routes that range up to 63 miles amid picture-perfect scenery.

Golfers can hone their swing, play a few rounds and also enjoy resort amenities all in one spot at Swan Lake. The resort offers two 18-hole championship golf courses and a golf academy. Stay and Play packages are also available for groups. Mystic Hills Golf Club is a new Pete Dye design golf facility located in northern Indiana. This is a public golf course which opened June 26, 1998. This stunning 18-hole layout incorporates a links style design on the front nine and a more traditional feel on the back nine. Prairie grasses guard the fairways as numerous sand bunkers protect each undulating green. The course offers you views of wetland areas, lush woods and rolling fairways.

The Pretty Lake Golf Club is an 18 hole Semi Private Golf Course located 10055 Pretty Lake Trail in Plymouth Indiana. Formerly known as the Plymouth Country Club, non-members are welcome with limited tee times available through out the week. Senior tees and new junior tees are in place for all ages to enjoy. Bremen has three major park facilities of over 100 acres and is administered by a 6 member Park Board. Sunnyside park is the largest, located on the southeast side with a community pool, six lighted diamonds, eight lighted tennis courts, 6 horseshoe pits also lighted. Filling out the very popular park are 2 sand volleyball courts, 4 soccer fields and a little league football field. Winter sports include an ice rink and a man made sledding hill. Sunnyside Park also includes a Community Room and several shelters for reunions and various activities. These shelters are usually rented a year in advance. There are also 3 small open shelters that are available on a first come bases. Walking paths winding through the park and encompasses a wetland that is in progress of being developed into a nature area. The crown jewel of Sunnyside is Jane's Park, a children's play ground built entirely by volunteers and donations in honor of Jane Sieg-Stillson.

This quiet 317 acre preserve along the Tippecanoe River includes the site of a rare post-removal Potawatomi village that existed until the early 1850s. Images depict its past, as well as an 1834 cabin, the oldest structure in Marshall County. Displays in the Interpretive Center give a glimpse of the area's rich history and nature. Visitors can hike five miles of trails through woodlands and prairie. You may spot turkey, waterfowl and deer along the way, as well as a wide variety of birds.
