Introducing....Kenzie Quissell our Social Media Manager Intern

The staff at Marshall County Tourism would like to take this time to introduce you to Kenzie Quissell, the Social Media Manager Intern at Marshall County Tourism!

Kenzie is a senior at Plymouth High School this year and plans to attend college in fall.  She will be majoring in Business Management/Marketing with a minor in Entrepreneurship and Interior Design while possibly continuing her volleyball career!  Throughout her time at Plymouth High School, Kenzie has been involved in volleyball, basketball, and track, Riley Dance Marathon, National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Pep Club, LEAD Club, Business Professionals of America, FTA, Adam Street Kids and Sunshine Society.

In her free time, Kenzie enjoys hanging out with her friends and family.  Her favorite thing to do is going to the beach, laying out in the sun and swimming!  She loves to help raise funds for Riley Hospital for Children as she is the current President of Plymouth High School Dance Marathon 2017-2018!

We asked Kenzie a couple of questions for fun and her were her answers!

Q:           Choose a movie title that you feel is the story of your life

A:            The movie “Wonder Women” would have to be the story of my life. She is always going above and beyond to help others! Our theme for Dance Marathon this year is “Heroes,” therefore getting everything together can be very stressful and time consuming. However, this is something I am very passionate about and something I love to do. It is important that I go above and beyond to make things happen, knowing that in the end it is going to an amazing cause.

Q:           What is one thing on your bucket list?

A:            There are several things that I would love to eventually do! As I have been on a couple mission trips in the past, it has become a dream to go on a mission trip to Costa Rico within the next few years! Along with that, I plan to study abroad for a semester in college which I am super excited for!

Q:           What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?

A:            My favorite outdoor activity in the summer would be jet skiing, tubbing, boating, wake boarding and really anything on the lake! I am out in the sun as much as I can because relaxing in the sun is for sure my “get-away!” My favorite indoor activity would be to play volleyball. Whether it is actual practice or simply just wanting to play for fun, I love the game in general and it is my favorite thing to do indoors. I also enjoy playing sand volleyball whenever I get the chance.
