Great Bike Routes

There is nothing quite like riding your bike through all the beautiful scenery here in Marshall County and around some of the biggest attractions that Marshall County has to offer. There are four marked bike routes that will take you countryside, around the state’s second largest lake, Lake Maxinkuckee, as well as to some quaint stores where you can shop or simply enjoy some good food. Depending on how long you would like to enjoy time on your bike, we have several different routes just for you. All the routes we have start at Webster School, which is located at 1101 South Michigan in Plymouth. However, you’re welcome to start anywhere by just following the signs. It is about 16 miles to Chief Menominee and back to Plymouth. Approximately 31 miles to Culver, up to Chief Menominee and back to Plymouth. We offer a 41 mile bike route to Culver, around Lake Maxinkuckee, up to Chief Menominee and back to Plymouth. To see all of these sights, you could spend your day on a 63 mile bike ride to Culver, around Lake Max, to Ancilla College, down to Chief Menominee, and then back to Plymouth. Take your friends or family on a fun, adventurous bike ride to make some everlasting memories!

If you plan on coming out to visit the Marshall County Blueberry Festival, you could participate in the organized bike tour! Anyone and everyone is welcome to participate in this event. There are a couple stopping point along the way, where fruit and drinks will be provided in order to keep you going. Bring your family and make some more friends as the day goes on! As you travel along these beautiful routes, whether you are participating in this event or simply just riding your bike for fun, you may come across the giant maple tree. This tree is green during the summer, but turns beautiful shades of yellow, red and orange in the fall. We would love to see you out on these bike routes. And just remember, even though you may be very tired at the end of the day, you will not be disappointed!
