3 Awesome Events In Marshall County This Weekend:

It’s summer time here in Marshall County and there’s always something awesome to do. Grab your family and friends, enjoy your summer vacation, and head on out to the events that are taking place. Summer is a time to make memories!

Growing up in a small town like Argos can be fun. You know all the kids that live down your street, riding your bike through the country roads is what you live for, and the town grocery store is the best place to be. Every now and then there’s exciting things that take place in your hometown, like the 4-H Fair, or even the Argos Summer Kickoff Festival. This is the second year Argos will be holding their Summer Kickoff Festival. There will be a BBQ cookoff, a 5k and a 10k run, and a fireworks event. Last year, the fireworks performance was amazing, and hopefully this year will be even better. If you are interested in going, the festival will be taking place at the Argos Community Park, in Argos Indiana. It’s going on from June 23rd – June 24th.

Did you know that beer is the world’s most widely consumed alcohol beverage? Even after water and tea! Well, if you’re someone that chooses beer over those, then I suggest you head on down to the Summer Sippin’ Craft Brew Fest in downtown Plymouth this weekend. They will be having a selection of craft brewery for you. Music will be playing downtown as well. This is a fundraising event that is taking place for Freedom Park an All-Inclusive Playground in Plymouth. All the proceeds will be donated to Freedom Park. It will be going on from 4 PM - 9 PM at River Square Park, 112 Water Street, Plymouth Indiana. If you want to look up ticket information please visit our Facebook page at Visit Marshall County.

Another awesome event that is taking place in Marshall County this weekend is Art in the Street. We already have a couple art displays for the event this weekend here in our Visitor Center. The displays look amazing! Local artists will be showing and selling their beautiful work. Pottery, stained glass, sculptures, and more. All these pieces will be on display so you’ll have the chance to look at them. If you’re going to get hungry throughout the event there will be food for you to eat, including beverages as well. Music will playing and games will be taking place. It’s going to be a great time, so head on out. Art in the Street will be going on Saturday from 10 AM - 5 PM on Michigan Street.
